Rao Liutai

Rao Liutai, a native of Linchuan, was a famous modern physicist and educator. He was one of the first scientists who were awarded as the academicians of Chinese Academy of Science and one of the earlier scientists researching Stark effect in the world. He had achieved fruitful results in atomic and molecular spectroscopy research. He had been teacher to the Noble Prize winner Yang Zhenning and Li Zhengdao.
